NEWS & PRAYER REQUESTS
SUMMER 2020
We begin this update with a shout of praise: Chain Breaker House is open! Hallelujah! Throughout it all God has been near and, though we were eager to open in the fall, His timing is always better. We have been open for several months now and are beginning the restorative work of addiction recovery in Bartholomew County. Praise God for his faithfulness and continuous blessing during this process.

We praise God…
-For the faithful givers who help support our ministry. The daily operational cost is about $46 per person; we could not do what we are doing without you!
-Many of our needs have been met! In the fall we received many large donations to include: a passenger van, washer and dryer, and many other household items.
Join us in praying…
-For the men in residence; may they experience and know the transformative grace of Jesus Christ.
-For the ministry of Chain Breaker House in the larger community.
-For the numerous physical needs of the house.
We continue to marvel at what God is doing in and through this ministry. We are open and running hard toward the prize God has promised through Christ Jesus: the redemption of souls and the restoration of men, free from addiction and living for Christ.

FALL 2019
Thank you for your interest in Chain Breaker House. We are excited to have you with us on this journey of faith. The trauma of addiction touches all of us: as individuals, families and as a community. We feel sure of God’s call on each of us to build this house; for His glory and our good!

We praise God…
-Received our 501(c)(3) designation from the IRS as a public charity.
-Received our Construction Design Release from the state and can begin necessary house modifications.
Join us in praying…
-For the house’s emergency needs: A licensed electrician to install emergency lighting/exit signs and interconnected smoke alarms; and a one-hour fire door.
-We are working toward an opening date of November 1, 2019.
